Rep. Christiana speaks about the tremendous impact that a petrochemical plant locating in Beaver County would have on the job climate and manufacturing industry in Pennsylvania during a press conference held in Harrisburg on June 20, with Gov. Tom Corbett and several labor and industry officials and lawmakers. Corbett, Christiana and other officials stressed the importance of moving legislation which would provide these job-creating industries with a tax credit through the legislative process along with the 2012-13 state budget.
